Mediation
Judith obtains a thorough understanding of the dispute through pre-mediation conversations with counsel and a thorough review of mediation summaries and/or other materials and information provided. She encourages and facilitates the resolution of disputes in mediation by remaining open-minded, effectively listening to and thoughtfully questioning participants, and fostering meaningful and respectful communication among the participants. Judith is analytical, diligent, and creative in her efforts to find a solution to the dispute. Judith will address every possible path to settlement throughout mediation. The goal is to facilitate a voluntary, reasonable, and satisfactory binding settlement agreement that allows the parties to gain closure and avoid protracted and costly litigation. Judith has served as a mediator in over 300 mediations.

PRE-MEDIATION TELEPHONE CONFERENCE
Once the mediation is scheduled, Judith will contact counsel to confidentially discuss the dispute to make the mediation as effective and efficient as possible.
PRE-MEDIATION SUBMISSION
Judith understands that each case is unique and allows counsel to determine how to present their information and positions most effectively. However, Judith encourages counsel to submit a mediation summary and any documents and/or evidence the parties would like her to review prior to mediation to understand the dispute, the parties' positions, and the posture of the case.
REMOTE OR IN-PERSON MEDIATION
Mediation will take place remotely by Zoom videoconferencing. If requested by all parties, mediation may be in person.
MEDIATION SCHEDULING

MEDIATION FEES
Judith offers rates for half-day and full-day mediations. Minimum fees apply for reserved mediation time. A written engagement agreement will be provided and must be signed and returned to us prior to mediation.
MEDIATION FEE DEPOSITS
Mediation fee deposits are due once we confirm that mediation has been scheduled.
CANCELLATION FEES
A cancellation fee will be due if mediation is canceled later than one day before the scheduled mediation.
PAYMENT
Final payment of mediator fees and costs is due at the conclusion of the mediation session. Counsel and/or pro se parties are responsible for payment of mediator fees, costs, and any applicable cancellation fee.
